Black History 365 Sub Plan: The Haitian Revolution | Middle School Social Studies

This Black History 365 one-day sub plan introduces middle school students to the Haitian Revolution, one of the most important revolutions in world history. Students learn how enslaved Africans in Saint-Domingue challenged slavery, defeated French colonial rule, and created the first independent Black republic.
